Restroom Installation
Educated in South Korea and the United States, Myeongbeom Kim creates installations and sculpture works that contrast man-made elements with nature to create surreal dream-like spaces. Utilising suspension as a common concept, his works are constantly poised in a state of wonderment. Within his installations, living things are held inside fragile confines like light bulbs and helium balloons. His exhibits can be seen around the world, as his work is constantly growing and breaking free of the regular, as if he himself has multiple balloons attached to his artistic approach.
