Dylan Brody can best be described as a thinking man’s comic. His comedy is wry, thoughtful, and political. Mr. Brody is an award winning playwright, published author and frequent contributor to The Huffington Post. He has performed in comedy clubs in Europe and America. He has made several comedy albums, namely Brevity, True Enough, A Twist of the Wit, and his latest out on Stand Up! Records Chronological Disorder. Chronological Disorder proves how fantastic a storyteller Dylan really is. He covers a gamet of topics including Occupy L.A, groupies, martial arts, depression, and political candidates. I can’t recommend this album enough! So go sip a cocktail and get to know Brody up close and personal.
A Nice Talk With The Wordsmith & Humorist That Is Dylan Brody
An In-Depth Conversation With BORBAY
A lot of artists put up a front, or try to label themselves. Some want to be known only as starving, and selling anything would be selling out. Some look at their gift strictly as a job, and create for the sole purpose of making as much money as they can. Some want recognition. Some say things like “I don’t even own a computer”. But some don’t care about any of that. It’s rare you come across an artist who is just 100% pure. BORBAY is that kind of artist. Nothing seems forced. He loves creating, and he loves interacting with people, talking about art, or just listening. His energy is contagious, whether he is talking about his family or hockey or painting or whatever, he is talking about it all with this contagious passion. Maybe that’s why Time Out New York voted him “Most Creative New Yorker“; maybe that’s why you can see his work at The Guggenheim or in The Wall Street Journal. Because that passion comes across in every piece, and always gives you at the very least a soft smile. You are about to get to know BORBAY on a pretty personal level, and if you don’t know him already, I’m glad to be the one to introduce you.

An Interview With A Woman We Love: Arden Myrin
When you think of actress, comedian, and all around artist Arden Myrin you probably think “She is my favorite on Chelsea Lately!” or “I recognize her from (insert the slew of movies and television she has done)!” One thing that makes her so memorable is that she is SO likeable. No matter what you know her from, you instantly love her. Her high pitched, always-enthusiastic voice is endearing, she has style for days, and is always wearing an ear-to-ear smile. In one word? She is whimsical. Or sexy. Or hilarious. Okay one word won’t do it. The best part is that we keep seeing more and more of her pop up in shows and movies. Her stock is on the rise, as they say. We caught up with Arden to talk about candy, her time on MADtv, Chelsea Lately, and the upcoming 4th Annual Women in Comedy Festival kicking off March 21st.
