O Youtube. You are procrastination-inducing, the perfect companion to a clutch of kush; endless stacks of videos, an abyss that stares back. 72 hours of video uploaded per minute. One could spend hours sifting through sub-par videos, “official” lyric slideshows, and horrible 96kbps compression jobs to come up with a crumby numbered list – we considered this! – that is completely, well, boring. So for your year-end enjoyment, we decided to do something a little bit different. This list is our earnest attempt at compartmentalizing 2012′s selection with a little more thought than “this one’s better than this one and this one’s the best.” Instead, enjoy our equally arbitrary categories (some more serious than others) that are equally flush with meaninglessness but also, hopefully, a little bit of funny.
