Oasis Dome
SO arrived at Coachella for the Friday sets just in time to catch the end of Cee Lo Green at the Coachella Stage, where he performed Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy” and his own hit “F*ck You.” From there, we caught Mount Kimbie over at the Oasis Dome – a smaller stage where they were actually playing from inside of a tree. After some technical difficulties, they were able to start their set, which was pretty amazing. For more on who else we saw and photos, read on!

Sunset
Back over at the Coachella stage was Ms. Lauryn Hill, who went on about a half hour late, but has definitely still “got it.” Sleigh Bells killed it in the Mojave tent, and the crowd was definitely the most into their show out of any of the other sets we caught.
While we were refreshing ourselves with margaritas at the Beer Garden, we could hear Brandon Flowers, who sounds exquisite live, covering “Bette Davis Eyes.” The rest of the night was spent with The Black Keys, The AquaBats, and Robyn. The Aquabats were definitely the most interesting thing we saw – it was kind of like watching Adult Swim with live music, costumes, and random video.
